We started this partnership because many of us in different hospital systems share patients\, collaborate on research\, and want to connect and learn from each other to support the health of SGM communities. We want to invite ALL people interested in the mission and pillars of our work to join us. \n\nOur Mission:\nOur mission is to optimize the health of sexual and gender minority individuals in Northeast Ohio through cross-institutional collaboration in research\, education\, community advocacy\, and clinical care. \n\nFour pillars of our work:\n\nCommunity Outreach/Advocacy\nResearch Collaboration\nMedical Education\nAdvancing Clinical Practice\n\nAt our first official meeting\, we plan to introduce the group and then break up into workgroups focused on each of the four pillars to discuss and plan what we might do together. We anticipate quarterly meetings of the general body\, with each workgroup deciding about how they will meet and operate. \nAll interested persons across discipline\, profession\, and training are welcome to participate.\nIf you have accessibility needs\, please let us know.\nLooking forward to connecting with you\,\nClinicians from the SGM-focused teams at the VA Medical Center\, University Hospitals\, MetroHealth\, and the Cleveland Clinic.
