Jamie Cooper | Coordinator Clinical Research I
Jamie Cooper has six years of experience in patient care coordination and research. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Florida and has worked extensively in clinical research coordination and patient recruitment.
With a passion for promoting health equity and serving underserved communities, Jamie has contributed to various studies and interventions. In her free time, she enjoys walking and practicing yoga.

Ashleigh Fletcher | Coordinator Clinical Research II
Ashleigh Fletcher has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science with a minor in Management from Cleveland State University, she has spent several years working on high-impact research, managing complex multi-site studies in areas like Alzheimer’s, pain management, and chronic disease interventions.
Currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Case Western Reserve University with future PhD aspirations.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Ashleigh is a fitness enthusiast with certifications in Yoga, Barre, and Reformer Pilates. She’s also run a half marathon (and swears “never again”), has too many hobbies to name, and enjoys spending time with her Chiweenie, Brody.

Eddie Gisemba | Project Lead
Eddie Gisemba is the new Project Lead at CHEEER working on the EPA Project. He has over 10 years of public health experience in both the private and public sectors; most recently as an Epidemiologist with the Cleveland Department of Public Health. Hailing from Northeast Ohio and an alumnus of both Hiram College and Case Western Reserve University.
Eddie is a big sports fan; particularly of Michigan State University and all Cleveland sports teams.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising, playing basketball, attending live music events, and trying different kinds of food.

Kevin Lockett | Research Data Scientist
Kevin Lockett is a native of the Jones Home Historic District, adjacent to MetroHealth. As a Research Data Scientist at CHEEER, plans to draw upon his experience with community engagement and skills in mixed methods research to support the institution's mission of advancing health equity.
Outside of work he enjoys reading Swahili literature, going on walks in parks, and cooking.
