The project coordinators will be responsible for assisting with the project.

There are 2 Levels of Coordinators (education requirements vary between the two)

Coordinator Clinical Research I & Coordinator Clinical Research II

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Publicizing project to MetroHealth asthma patients and physicians.
  • Informing potential participants about project details, answering questions, addressing concerns, and connecting them with the appropriate community organization partner.
  • Providing an induction cookware set and instructions on how to use the cookware.
  • Performing baseline, 10 week, and 12 month
    1. Interviews
    2. Air Quality Measurements
    3. Review of Utility Bills
  • Entering data into a database.
  • Being available for further assistance as requested by households.
  • Collaborating with community organizations and other project personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in community settings related to economic development, housing, and/or health.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Should be able to drive in own car to participating households for project tasks.
