Congratulations to Dr. Yasir Tarabichi of MetroHealth, a valued member of the CTSC Informatics Module, for being named one of HealthTech’s “30 Healthcare IT Influencers Worth a Follow in 2025.” Dr. Tarabichi is recognized for his leadership in clinical informatics and his commitment to advancing AI and data-driven healthcare innovation. In addition, Dr. Tarabichi helped plan the inaugural Epic Cosmos Datathon and is currently helping develop this year’s event, scheduled for October 18, 2025.

The Center for Health Equity Engagement Education and Research was established by Case Western Reserve University and MetroHealth Medical Center to reduce health disparities through research on root causes, mechanisms, and interventions; through education of students, providers, and policy makers; and through partnership with community organizations and government agencies.

The aims of this Core are to facilitate community based research among faculty, students, community organizations, and community residents.
