Neighborhood Connections is hosting a community health conversation about kidney disease and minority health.
Let’s Talk Health is a quarterly speaker series focused on healthy living to reduce chronic disease and featuring an array of innovative leaders in the healthcare industry. Hosted at the historic Eliza Bryant Village in Hough, each talk will include a reception, presentation and conversation.
Next week’s speaker is Dr. Charles Modlin, director of Cleveland Clinic Minority Men’s Health Center, one of only about 20 African-American transplant surgeons in the U.S., and a recognized national leader for the elimination of minority health disparities.
The event will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
