Who are We?

A group of healthcare providers that foster collaboration, community accountability, and medical education regarding sexual and gender minority (SGM) people in Northeast Ohio. We started this partnership because many of us in different hospital systems share patients, collaborate on research, and want to connect and learn from each other to support the health of SGM communities. We want to invite ALL people interested in the mission and pillars of our work to join us.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to optimize the health of sexual and gender minority individuals in Northeast Ohio through cross-institutional collaboration in research, education, community advocacy, and clinical care.

Four pillars of our work:

1. Community Outreach/Advocacy
2. Research Collaboration
3. Medical Education
4. Advancing Clinical Practice

At our first official meeting, we plan to introduce the group and then break up into workgroups focused on each of the four pillars to discuss and plan what we might do together. We anticipate quarterly meetings of the general body, with each workgroup deciding about how they will meet and operate.

All interested persons across discipline, profession, and training are welcome to participate.
