In kicking off the year in the spirit of participatory research, we want this first meeting of 2021 to be a discussion with the group on prior feedback regarding the purpose and goals of the CBRN, topics of interest to cover for the year, and incorporating community and pilot awardee voices in setting the agenda for the future. We will also spend the last half hour of the meeting with pilot awardees only discussing our upcoming progress report due to the NIH.
We look forward to productive, engaging and inclusive meetings in the year to come and thank you all for your continued commitment.
The Community Based Research Network comes together the second Thursday of every month to hear and discuss issues related to community-based participatory research. The group is made up of our new investigator development award grantees and their community partners, CRSI scholar alumni, other applicants for the pilot awards, and community members involved in other CHEEER research projects.
If you’d like to attend, or get more information, please send a note indicating you’d like to get on the CBRN listserv to reducedisparity@gmail.com.
